MIKE STAMM
Rooted in the Anthony Wayne district for over a decade, my family chose this community because of its outstanding schools and strong values. We’ve built our lives here, and it’s that deep commitment that inspired me to run for the Board of Education. In 2023, I was elected and have spent the past two years serving on the Anthony Wayne Board of Education, championing parental rights, fiscal responsibility, and academic excellence.
Professionally, I have built a career as an engineer and problem solver, helping businesses succeed through innovation, leadership, and efficiency. Those same skills, including teamwork, problem-solving, and a focus on results, guide my approach to public service.
But more than any professional role, my most important titles are husband and father. Kristen and I are raising three children in this district, including a daughter with special needs. That experience gives me a personal understanding of the challenges faced by families navigating IEPs and specialized support, and it fuels my commitment to making sure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
My Christian faith is central to who I am. For most of the past decade, I have served in Cedar Creek Church’s student ministries, mentoring and encouraging the next generation to live out their God-given potential. Faith and service are not just part of my life. They shape the way I lead, the way I serve, and the way I make decisions.
I’ve also invested in our community as a volunteer coach, leading dozens of youth teams in football, basketball, and baseball. Sports have given me a platform to teach discipline, teamwork, and character. These are values I believe are just as important in the classroom as they are on the field.
As a school board member, my pledge is simple: to combine the heart of a dedicated father, the faith of a committed Christian, and the practical experience of an engineer. Together, parents, educators, and community members can build a strong foundation for the next generation.
